As you visit a web page, most browsers save a copy of it on your computer in a temporary location called the cache, which helps your computer load that page more quickly on subsequent visits.  While this is a great time-saving feature in most cases, it can occasionally cause conflicts on some pages if the cached copy is out of date.

Outlined below are the steps necessary to clear the cache for several popular browsers, which will help ensure your computer is loading the most recent version of MobyMax.

Internet Explorer - 
Windows

  1. Select Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history.
  2. NOTE: You can also access this menu by holding Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
  3. Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.
  4. You will get a confirmation at the bottom of the window once it has successfully cleared your cache and cookies.


Firefox - Mac

  1. Click Tools in the menu bar.
  2. Select Clear Recent History.
  3. In the drop down for "Time range to clear:" select Everything.
  4. Check off the box for Cache, (it's ok to leave everything else unchecked).
  5. Click Clear Now to confirm.


Firefox - Windows

  1. Click the menu button  (you can also press Alt on the keyboard and go to “Tools”)
  2. Select “Options."
  3. Go to “Privacy and Security."
  4. Under Cached Web Content, click “Clear Now."


Chrome - Mac

  1. Click Chrome in the menu bar.
  2. Select Clear Browsing Data.
  3. Check off the box for Empty the cache, (it's ok to leave everything else unchecked).
  4. In the drop down for "Clear data from this period:" select Everything.
  5. Click Clear browsing data to confirm.


Chrome - Windows

  1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. Check off the box for Empty the cache, (it's ok to leave everything else unchecked).
  5. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Select beginning of time to delete everything.
  6. Click Clear browsing data.


Chromebooks

  1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar. This will appear as a button with three horizontal lines.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. In the dialog that appears, select the checkboxes for the types of information that you want to remove.
  5. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Select beginning of time to delete everything.
  6. Click Clear browsing data.


Opera 10 - Mac

  1. Click Tools in the menu bar.
  2. Select Delete Private Data.
  3. Click the Triangle next to Detailed Options.
  4. Uncheck everything but Delete entire cache.
  5. Click Delete to confirm.


Chrome 10 - Windows

  1. Click the red Menu button in the upper left corner.
  2. Move down to Settings.
  3. Select Delete Private Data.
  4. Click the Triangle next to Detailed Options.
  5. Uncheck everything but Delete entire cache.
  6. Click Delete to confirm.


Safari iPad - iPhone

  1. Select the "Settings" app.
  2. Tap the "Safari" sub-menu.
  3. Within the Safari menu, tap the "Clear History and Website Data" button.
  4. In the pop-up window, tap "Clear".


Safari - Mac

  1. In the Safari menu bar, click the Safari option.
  2. Select the Preferences link.
  3. In the Preferences window, click the Advanced tab.
  4. At the bottom of the window, select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox.
  5. Return to the Safari menu bar and click the Develop option.
  6. Select the Empty Caches link.


Windows

  1. Click the Edit menu*.
  2. Select Empty Cache.
  3. Click Empty to confirm.
  4.   *NOTE: If you can't see the Edit menu in step 1, you may need to click the Settings Gear and select Show Menu Bar.


Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the Hub icon.
  2. Click the History icon.
  3. Click the link labeled Clear all history.
  4. Check the boxes for each item you want to clear.
  5. Click the Clear button.
