When taking the Reading Level Assessment, the student will read a grade-level story and answer five questions. If they answer four to five questions correctly, they will move on to the next "semester" of that grade level and complete another story set. If they answer two to three questions correctly, the assessment will end, and the student will receive a grade level score, such as 5.2 for a student taking a fifth-grade test who answered two questions correctly in the first "semester". If the student answers incorrectly on all problems or answers only one question correctly, the assessment will either stop at a grade level of 0.0 (Kindergarten) or move down to the next lowest grade level.

Teachers can view Reading Level Assessment results directly from their accounts. Students can also view their results by clicking on the "Progress" button and selecting "Reading Level Assessments" from the "More" menu.
