Vocabulary is based on the Find-Learn-Practice-Review model. After completing the initial Vocabulary placement test, students are asked to find five unknown words to practice each time they click on Vocabulary and start a new session. By default, the student will practice these words for five consecutive sessions. Once those new words have been practiced five times, they will move into the Interval Review cycle and be practiced every three days. Eventually, they will move into the Monthly Review Cycle.

It's important to encourage students to complete an entire session in one sitting, when possible. This will prevent the words from building too quickly for a student. Students will see this screen when a session is completed:

Here's an example to illustrate this: If a student finds five words on Monday morning, doesn't complete the entire session and logs back in later that day, he/she will be required to find 5 new unknown words. This will cause the student to have a pool of 10 words that they must now Learn-Practice and Review. Whereas if the student completes an entire session, they'll only have to work with the 5 unknown words for that session.
