- After signing in to your teacher account, click the "Science" or "Social Studies" link from the left sidebar.
- Click the "Science" or "Social Studies" button.
- Click the "Lessons" tab.
- Click the "Assign" tab.
- Select the name of the group above your students' names and skip to step 10, or click the "Sort and Filter" link at the bottom of the page.
- Click the word "Groups" in blue to create a new group.
- Click "Create new group" in blue.
- Enter the name for the group you are creating and click the "Save" button.
- Check the box next to the names of the students that you would like to place in the group.
- Click "Save and Close."
- Click the group name, which will now appear above your students' names.
- Click the grade level for the lessons that you would like to assign.
- Check the box next to each lesson you wish to assign.
- Click the "Assign" button.
- Choose a sequence, and then click the "Continue" button.
- Select the “Curriculum” tab once you have logged in.
- Click the “Science” or "Social Studies" button.
- Click on the "Assign" tab at the top of the menu.
- Select the "Assign Skills" link on the left navigation menu.
- Choose the radio button for "MobyMax Curriculum" and click the "Next" button.
- Select the arrow to the left of a grade level to see the skills available.
- Click the box to the left of any skill(s) that you would like to assign and select the "Next" button.
- Use the drop-down menu at the top of this menu next to "Your groups" or "Shared classes" to select a group or class.
- Click “Next” and enter the assignment name.
- You can enter a start and end date for the skills if you would like, or leave them blank to keep the skill available until the student completes it.
- Choose the radio button next to “Bottom” or “Top” to communicate to Moby whether the assignment should be listed at the top or bottom of the assignments.
- Click “Assign.”
Please note: There is also a search bar located at the top of the page to search for specific skills or terms. When assigning skills you will also notice drop-down menus that allow you to sort by standard and also sort by specific grade levels.
