MobyMax automatically allocates lessons according to the standards that students missed during the adaptive placement test for Mathematics. Additionally, teachers have the option to manually assign skills at any point if they wish for students to focus on specific standards or skills that align with classroom instruction.

To assign a skill to your students in Mathematics:
  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the “Curriculum” tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the “Mathematics” button.
  4. Select the “Assign” tab from the top of the page.
  5. Click “Assign Skills” located on the left sidebar under the "Practice" header.
  6. Choose the radio button for "MobyMax curriculum" and click "Next."
  7. Use the drop-down menu for "Grade Level" or use the search bar to search for a key term or phrase.
    • You can select the “>” next to a grade level to expand the list of domains and select the arrow next to the domains to see the individual skills.
    • Clicking the blue text on a skill title allows you to preview the questions on the skill.
  8. Place a checkmark in the box next to any skill(s) that you want to assign and click the "Next" button.
  9. Add a checkmark next to any student you want to assign the skill to and click "Next."
  10. Choose the title of your assignment, set an optional start and due date, and where the skill(s) appear on the student's assignment tab.
  11. Click the "Assign" button.


Note: Teachers can always resequence or delete any skills that have been assigned.

  3. Click on the “Mathematics” button.
  4. Select the "Lessons" tab at the top of the page.
  5. Click the “Assign” sub-tab.
  6. Choose a student’s name, a group name, or the “Entire Class" option.
  7. Select the grade level of the skill you want to assign.
  8. Place a checkmark in the box under the "Select" column for any skill(s) that you want to assign.
  9. Click the "Assign" button.
  10. Name your assignment, add any optional start or due dates, and choose how the skills will be sequenced.
  11. Click “Continue."


Note: Teachers can always resequence or delete any skills that have been assigned.
