In order to prioritize specific lessons or make adjustments to the order, teachers may need to modify the sequence in which students receive skills. By viewing the skill sequence for students, teachers can delete any skills or lessons from the sequence, enabling the option for complete customization over the lesson sequence in MobyMax to align with classroom instruction.

To sequence or delete skills for a student in Reading Skills:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the "ELA" link on the left sidebar under the "Subjects" header.
  3. Click the “Reading Skills Literature” or "Reading Skills Informational" button.
  4. Select the "Lessons" tab at the top of the page.
  5. Click on the sub-tab for “Assignments.”
  6. Select a student's name.
  7. Sequence or delete any skill that you have assigned.
    • The arrow icon to the left of the skill can be selected to drag and drop the skill in the sequence.
    • The trashcan icon to the left of a skill can be selected to delete the skill from the sequence.


Note: You can click on the "Manage Upcoming and Incomplete Assignments" sub-tab to delete any skills automatically assigned by MobyMax.

  2. Select the "Curriculum" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the "Reading Skills Literature" or "Reading Skills Informational" button.
  4. Select the "Assign" tab at the top of the page.
  5. Click on the blue "Students" link at the top of this menu.
  6. Select the name of a student.
  7. Click the "All Assignments" tab.
  8. Sequence or delete any skill that you have assigned. 
    • Use the “=” icon to drag and drop the assignments into the desired location within the sequence.
    • Check the box next to an assignment and click “Delete” at the top to delete an assignment.


Note: If you delete a skill that a student has started, they will lose all progress on the deleted skill.
