Teachers can be a source of motivation for students by giving out exciting bonuses using the Reward Students module. From game time minutes to Badges, and Moby Friend minutes, teachers can choose what to give as rewards. You can even award students with fun science-themed Maxoids! While MobyMax already automatically provides these as students work through lessons and pass skills, teachers have the option to reward students using these fantastic motivators as well!
Once a student receives a reward, they will see a pop-up the next time they log in, and can use it in the corresponding MobyMax module. For example, if a student is rewarded with a game, they can access it by clicking the "Games" button on their dashboard.
To use the Reward Students module:
- Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
- Select the "Tools" tab at the top of the page.
- Click on the "Reward Students" button under the "Engage" header.
- Place a checkmark to the left of any student's name that you want to reward.
- Select the "Pick Rewards for Selected Students" button.
- Use the drop-down menu to select your desired reward.
- Add a message in the box that students will see when receiving your reward.
- Click on the "Award Students" button.
