MobyMax gives teachers the ability to customize the grade level that a student practices within Test Prep and Review modules. This feature allows teachers to tailor content to meet individual learning needs and ensure students are focused on the grade-level skills most relevant for state testing.


MobyMax’s adaptive technology continues to work in the background—automatically adjusting the difficulty based on how students perform. This ensures students can quickly progress through mastered skills while receiving targeted support where needed.

To Adjust the Grade Level for Test Prep and Review

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.

  2. Click the Manage tab at the top of the page.

  3. Select the Settings button.

  4. Click the Individual Student Settings tab.

  5. Check the box next to the student(s) you wish to update.

  6. Click Update Settings.

  7. Choose the Modules tab at the top of the menu.

  8. From the left sidebar, select Math or ELA, then click Learning to display the Test Prep and Review modules.

  9. Select a Test Prep and Review subject.

  10. Use the grade-level drop-down menu to select the desired grade.

  11. Click Save or Save and Close to apply the changes.

What Happens Next?

The student can now sign in to MobyMax and begin working in the Test Prep and Review module at the newly selected grade level.
