Reading Stories helps students develop better reading comprehension. Students read grade level fiction and nonfiction texts and answer questions that cover all grade level standards. Reading Stories does not include lessons or targeted instruction.  This module offers read aloud sound for stories, questions, and answers through 5th grade.

Reading Skills is designed to give students lessons and practice on individual reading skills. Students are introduced to grade level reading skills with "Teach Me" lessons and complete lesson topics on individual skills. Most texts in this module are shorter in order to focus on the particular skills being targeted. This module only offers read-aloud sound for questions and answers, but not passages. Keep in mind that Reading Skills Literature and Informational work in the same way except for the texts they use. Reading Skills literature uses texts from literary sources while Informational uses sources such as articles.

Foundational Reading starts with a placement test and is geared for grades K-5. It will help jumpstart student's reading ability. It is aligned with Common Core Foundational Reading standards and focuses on key skills such as phonological and phonemic awareness, decoding, segmenting, blending, syllabication, and more.

Reading Level Assessment is an assessment that can help guide you in knowing your students' reading level. It is based on comprehension with reading selections and 5 questions that follow. Depending on how students answer, the test can continue on, drop down a bit for another try, or it will stop. This is not a placement test and won't carry over into any other reading module. It will give you an idea of what grade level your student is reading.
