"Paired Reading Stories" progress monitoring data is available for your entire class and for individual students. To view data for your entire class, select the "ELA" link in the left sidebar after signing in, then click the "Paired Reading Stories" button and then "Progress." To view data for individual students, complete the aforementioned steps and then click the student's name.
On the "Paired Reading Stories" progress monitoring screen for your entire class, you will see a column for student names, a column for grade ranges, and several columns for Common Core State Standards. Each number corresponds with a Common Core State Standard, but these standards vary based on the student's reading grade range. You can learn more about these standards by visiting: http://www.corestandards.org/ELA-Literacy/
If a student has completed a lesson topic, you should see check marks and/or Xs in the Common Core State Standard columns. A check mark indicates that the student has passed the standard, whereas an X indicates that the student has not. Each mark takes into account the last three questions answered on a particular standard. You can mouse over the check mark or the X to see the specific standard passed or not passed.
On the "Paired Reading Stories" progress monitoring screen for individual students, you will see a grade range and a bar graph that measures student scores on Common Core State Standards. If the student has worked on "Paired Reading Stories" in several grade ranges, a drop-down box will appear, allowing you to view data from a particular grade range. The bars in the graph represent the average score on a given standard in the selected grade range. You can mouse over the bar to see the specific standard measured.
