Announcements & Tasks is a versatile communication tool designed to strengthen class engagement, streamline collaboration, and keep everyone informed. Whether you're posting classroom updates, assigning tasks, scheduling events, or polling your students, this feature makes it easy to connect meaningfully with your learners.
Students can comment on posts, download attachments, and stay up to date—all from their student dashboard under the Communication tab.
Creating Posts in Announcements & Tasks
To Create an Announcement:
Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
Click the "Tools" tab at the top of the page.
Under the Communicate header, select "Announcements & Tasks."
Choose the "Announcements" tab.
Click "Create Announcement."
Add your content and adjust comment/group options as needed.
Click "Post Announcement."
To edit an existing post, click the pencil icon next to the title.
To Create a Task:
Go to "Announcements & Tasks" and click the "Tasks" tab.
Select "Create Task."
Enter a title, details, and due date.
Adjust comment and group settings.
Click "Post Announcement."
Use the pencil icon to edit any Task post.
To Create an Event:
Select the "Events" tab within Announcements & Tasks.
Click "Create Event."
Add a title, details, and your event's start/end dates.
Modify comment or group options if needed.
Click "Post Event."
To Create a Poll:
Click the "Poll" tab.
Choose "Create Poll."
Enter your poll question and answer choices.
Optionally mark a correct answer or add more choices.
Adjust group/comment options.
Click "Post Poll."
How Do Students View Posts?
Students can access all Announcements, Tasks, Events, and Polls by:
Signing in to their student account.
Clicking the Communication tab at the top of their dashboard.
Selecting "Announcements & Tasks" to view all relevant posts from their teacher.
