The Messenger module in MobyMax is an essential communication tool that allows teachers to connect directly with students—and even their parents or guardians—all from within their MobyMax account.

With Messenger, you can:

  • Send individual or group messages to students

  • Notify parents via email or text

  • Communicate classroom updates or student feedback instantly


Messages sent through Messenger appear in the student's MobyMax account and can also be delivered to a parent’s email or phone if contact information is provided.


To Send a Message Using Messenger

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.

  2. Click the “Tools” tab at the top of the screen.

  3. Under the Communicate section, click “Messenger.”

  4. Select the “New Message” button.

  5. Choose the type of message you'd like to send (Student, Parent, or Both), then click “Continue.”

  6. Select the recipient(s) from your class list.

  7. Type your message in the message box.

  8. Click “Send Message.”


Helpful Tips

  • Add parent or guardian contact information under the Student Contacts section to enable email or SMS messages.

  • You can view previously sent messages in the Messenger history tab.

  1. Sign in to your teacher account.

  2. From the left sidebar, click “Classroom Tools” under the Tools section.

  3. Click the “Messenger” icon.

  4. Select “New Message.”

  5. Choose the message type and click “Continue.”

  6. Select recipient(s), type your message, and click “Send Message.”
