1. After signing in to your teacher account, click the “Curriculum” tab at the top of the page.
  2. Click the subject area button (e.g., "Math," "Language," etc.)
  3. Click on the “Assign” tab.
  4. Click “Assign Quiz” in the left sidebar.
  5. Choose a Quiz type and click “Next”.
  6. Follow the steps below based on which type you select.


Select and assign MobyMax quizzes. MobyMax adaptively chooses the problems and updates progress monitoring and standards.

  1. Choose a grade level, search for a skill name, or click “>” next to a grade level to expand the list of skills.
  2. Check the box next to any skill you’d like to quiz and click “Next.”
  3. Check the box(es) next to the student(s) to whom you would like to assign the quiz and click “Next.”
  4. Select the number of problems from each skill for the quiz.
  5. Check the “Show correct answer?” box if you’d like it to show the correct answer to students after they answer each question, and click “Next.”
  6. Name the quiz.
  7. Set options for how you’d like the quiz to be displayed if you wish.
  8. Click the “Assign” button.


Select and assign teacher-made quizzes.

  1. Search for a skill, using the “Grade Level” and “Shared Skills” menus to filter your results.
  2. Check the box next to the quiz you’d like to assign and click “Next.”
  3. Check the box(es) next to the student(s) to whom you would like to assign the quiz and click “Next.”
  4. Check the “Show correct answer?” box if you’d like it to show the correct answer to students after they answer each question, and click “Next.”
  5. Name the quiz.
  6. Set options for how you’d like the quiz to be displayed if you wish.
  7. Click the “Assign” button.

Select “All skills created by me” in the “Shared Skills” menu to see quizzes you have previously created.

Create and assign your own quiz by selecting problems from MobyMax or teacher-made quizzes. You can also create your own problems.

  1. Choose “Add Problems From MobyMax,” “Add Problems From Teacher-Made Quizzes,” or “Create New Problem”.
  2. Follow the prompts within your chosen section to add problems.
  3. Check the box(es) next to the student(s) to whom you would like to assign the quiz and click “Next.”
  4. Check the “Show correct answer?” box if you’d like it to show the correct answer to students after they answer each question, and click “Next.”
  5. Name the quiz.
  6. Set options for how you’d like the quiz to be displayed, if you wish, and click “Next.”
  7. Use the “Sharing” menu to set whether you’d like to share your quiz with other teachers.
  8. Set the grade level for the quiz.
  9. Click the “Assign” button.
