Default settings in MobyMax determine how students begin working in their accounts. These settings include features such as passing percentages for skills, homework time, sound settings, and more.


Teachers can fully customize these default settings to best fit their classroom needs. Updates are made from the “Settings” area in Moby Central.


To Access and Update Default Settings:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.

  2. Click the “Tools” tab at the top of the page.

  3. Select the “Settings” button.

  4. Use the links at the top of the page to manage your settings:

  • General – Adjust assigned time, homework time, passing scores, and more.

  • Modules – Customize settings for specific subject modules. Use the left navigation menu to select a subject and view the adjustable options.

  • Hide Modules – Choose which modules are hidden or visible to your students. A checkmark next to a subject means it will be hidden.


Updating Settings for Individual Students

You can personalize settings for individual students by selecting the Individual Student Settings link at the top of the page. This allows you to apply changes to specific students rather than your whole class.
