How to Adjust Read-Aloud Settings for Your Students

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the "Tools" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Select the "Settings" button.
  4. Click on "Manage Sound Settings for All Modules" under "Sound Settings".
  5. Choose the appropriate Read-Aloud setting:
    • All Modules – Enables read-aloud for all available subjects.
    • Some Modules – A link will appear allowing you to select specific modules.
  6. Under "Voice", choose whether students can select their preferred voice.
  7. Toggle the word-by-word highlighting option if desired.
  8. Click "Save and Exit" to apply changes.

How Students Can Customize Read-Aloud Settings

  1. Sign in to a MobyMax student account.
  2. Click the books icon at the top of the page.
  3. Select a subject (e.g., Mathematics, Language) and begin working on a skill.
  4. Click the three horizontal lines in the top left corner and select "Sound".
  5. Adjust the voice speed, voice type, and enable word highlighting if desired.
  6. Click "Save" to apply preferences.

Important Notes

The Read-Aloud feature is not yet available in all subject modules. If a subject does not support it, the option will not be accessible.

  4. Choose a Read Aloud option that suits your class needs. If selecting "Some modules," click the link that appears to select specific subjects.
  5. Under "Voice," decide whether students can choose their own voice settings.
  6. Use the toggle switch to enable word-by-word highlighting if desired.
  7. Click "Save and Exit."
