As a teacher, you have the option to reset the badges a student has earned in MobyMax. This can be useful at the start of a new school year, grading period, or when setting fresh goals for students. However, it's important to know that resetting badges will permanently remove all previously earned badges from a student’s account.

Once reset, students can begin earning badges again as they complete and pass skills—some of which may be the same badges they earned previously.

To Reset Earned Badges for a Student

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.

  2. Click the "Tools" tab at the top of the page.

  3. Under the "Engage" section, select "Badges."

  4. Check the box next to the name(s) of the student(s) whose badges you want to reset.

  5. Click the "Adjust Badge Settings" button.

  6. Select the "Restart" button and confirm when prompted.


Once reset, the student's badge count will return to zero, and new badges will be earned based on ongoing progress in any MobyMax subject (except Reading Level Assessment and Writing Assignments).

  6. Choose "Restart" and confirm the reset.
