- After signing in, click “Assessments."
- Choose a subject under “Skill Checker.”
- Click “Create New Test."
- Click the checkbox next to a student’s name, a group name, or all students, and click “Next.”
- Select the grade level.
- Select "All Skills" or the specific skills you want tested. Click “Next."
- Enter a test name.
- Select a date, and click “Finish."
Please note that your students will access the Skill Checker, Fluency Tests, and other Assessments by clicking on the assignment tab (the paper with A+) at the top of their student dashboard.
- Sign in to your teacher account, and click the "Assignments" link under “Quick Access”.
- Click the “Assign" button at the top of the page.
- Select the "Assign skill checker test" radio button.
- Click the radio button for the subject that you want to assign the Skill Checker test in.
- Check the boxes for the student(s) you wish to assign the assessment to. The topmost checkbox will select all of your students.
- Use the drop-down menu under "Grade Level" to select a specific grade level, or use the search bar to search key phrases.
- Click the box to the left of the standard you want to assign. Note that you can also click the arrow to the left of a standard to view and select individual skills.
- Enter a name, start date, or end date (optional), if it is to show on the student's "Assignments" tab, and where in the assignments list it should go (top or bottom).
- Click “Finish”
