MobyMax offers placement tests across multiple subject modules, including Mathematics, Language, Foundational Reading, Fact Fluency, and Vocabulary. These placement tests provide valuable information about a student's level of mastery in a specific subject area. With just a few clicks, teachers can easily access and review the results of these placement tests to gain insight into their students' strengths and weaknesses.

To see if the student has completed a placement test in Math, Language, or Foundational Reading:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the “Curriculum” tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click the subject area button for Math, Language, or Foundational Reading.
  4. Select the “Scores” tab at the top of the page.
  5. Click the “Placement Test” link on the left sidebar under the "Big 5" header.


If students have taken a placement test, you will be able to view the date of the last completed test and the corresponding grade level result. In the "Assign new test" column, incomplete tests will be labeled as "In progress," while tests that have not been started will be labeled as "Start with placement."

To see if the student has completed a placement test in Vocabulary or Fact Fluency:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the “Curriculum” tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click the subject area button for Vocabulary or Fact Fluency.


In Vocabulary, you will see a grade level score listed under "Current Grade Level" after clicking the student's name. 


In Fact Fluency, you will see a percentage listed in at least one of the domains under "Overall Fluency Score" after clicking the student's name.
