MobyMax's Mathematics, Language, Foundational Reading, Vocabulary, and Fact Fluency modules begin with an adaptive placement test. The test is tailored to each student's needs, and the number of problems and test duration will vary depending on the student's performance. The purpose of the placement test is to identify and address any knowledge gaps a student may have. 

We have provided an estimate of the time required for students to complete each of the placement tests in MobyMax:

• Math: 20 minutes
• Language: 20 minutes
• Foundational Reading: 20 minutes
• Fact Fluency: 10 minutes
• Vocabulary: 5 minutes

It's also important to keep in mind that the "Test only missing standards" placement test will differ for each student, as it targets the skills that were not mastered in their previous placement test.
