The number of state standards required for each grade level varies based on state guidelines, subject area, and grade level.
Example Calculation:
- A grade level has 10 standards.
- A student completes and passes all lessons within 2 standards.
- Their grade level increase = 0.2 for that subject.
This system provides a clear and measurable way to track student progress toward mastery of grade-level skills.
