The time spent metric in MobyMax measures the duration of time that students spend on focused work in their account. It calculates the time students spend working on questions, with each question limited to two minutes.
For instance, if a student spends 50 seconds on one problem and 120 seconds on another problem, the total time spent would be 170 seconds (50 + 120). However, on the report, this would be rounded up to three minutes.
If a student is spending longer than the two-minute cap on each problem, it will be reflected in the On Task %. For instance, if a student is easily distracted and spends 30 minutes in MobyMax, but only spends 10 minutes working on problems, their Time Spent will be 10 minutes, and their On Task % will be only 25%.
