MobyMax allows teachers to customize the minimum score a student must earn for a skill to be considered "passed." By default, the passing score is set to 70%, but teachers can increase it in 5% increments, up to 100%.
This setting can be adjusted for individual students or the entire class, but it applies across all subject areas. Subject-specific passing percentages are not available.
Keep in mind:
Updating the passing percentage will impact students with IEP goals, as they must now meet the new percentage for a skill to be marked as passed.
To Adjust the Passing Percentage for an Individual Student
Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
Click the Manage tab at the top of the page.
Select the Settings button.
Choose the Individual Student Settings tab at the top of the menu.
Check the box next to the student(s) you want to update.
Click Update Settings.
Select the General tab.
Use the Score for passing dropdown menu to choose your desired passing percentage.
Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Additional Notes
This setting affects all skills for the selected student(s).
You can revisit this menu at any time to make future adjustments.
