MobyMax is a great tool for teachers to engage and motivate their students to learn. One of the ways it does this is through the use of MobyMax Contests and the contest points that students earn when participating. As students work through the subjects that teachers selected when creating the contest, students will earn contest points for answering questions fluently and correctly. Teachers will have access to view the point totals for contests they have created when selecting individual students, as group contests only display a total for the entire group.

To view contest points for individual students please do the following:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the "Tools" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the "Contests" button under the "Engage' header.
  4. Select the "Results" link for your contest under the "Status" column.


Note: Individual contest points for students can only be viewed when the contest has been set to a "Students" contest and not a "Group" contest.

To change a contest from group-based to individual student based:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the "Tools" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the pencil icon that appears to the left of the contest title.
  4. Select the "Next" button.
  5. Click on the radio button for "Students" on the left side of the menu.
  6. Check the boxes for the students you want included in the contest.
  7. Select the "Save" button.
