MobyMax's Spelling Lists module allows teachers to customize and assign word lists containing words of their choosing. While teachers will also have access to MobyMax's pre-existing word list, they can also create batches of word lists using words that you enter into MobyMax and have their students practice these words. Teachers will have complete customization over the word lists that their students receive.

To create your own word lists in the Spelling Lists module:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the "Curriculum" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the "Spelling Lists" button.
  4. Select the "Assigned Lists” tab at the top of the page.
  5. Click on the "Create New Word List" button.
  6. Using the drop-down menu at the top, assign your word list a grade level.
  7. Select the box below the drop menu and type in the first word you want to add to the list.
  8. Press the Enter key on your keyboard to add another line and add additional words.
  9. Place a checkmark in the "Assign this word list to students now" box.
  10. Click on the "Create New Word List" button once you have added all of your words.
