Teachers do not need to assign Reading Level Assessment to students. When a student logs in to their account, they can simply click on the "Reading Level Assessment" button to start an assessment at their registered grade level. Additionally, MobyMax offers the flexibility for you to modify the initial grade level for students in Reading Level Assessments as required. 

To change the starting grade level of Reading Level Assessments for your students:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher or school administrator account.
  2. Select the "Tools" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the "Settings" button.
  4. Select the "Individual Student Settings" tab at the top of the page.
  5. Click on the name of a student whose settings you'd like to modify.
  6. Select the "Modules" tab at the top of the menu.
  7. Click on the "ELA" link on the left sidebar.
  8. Select the "Assessments" option directly below and then click on "Reading Level Assessment".
  9. Choose "Restart" if there is no option to set the starting grade level. 
    • Note: This will erase all previous attempted Reading Level Assessments for that student.
  10. Set the "Starting Grade Level" as desired.
  11. Click "Save".
  12. Select the arrow at the top of the page to move on to the next student.

  3. Select the "Individual Student Settings" tab at the top of the page.
  4. Click on the name of a student whose settings you'd like to modify.
  5. Select the "Modules" tab at the top of the menu.
  6. Click on the "ELA" link on the left sidebar.
  7. Select the "Assessments" option directly below and then click on "Reading Level Assessment".
  8. Choose "Restart" if there is no option to set the starting grade level. 
    • Note: This will erase all previous attempted Reading Level Assessments for that student.
  9. Set the "Starting Grade Level" as desired.
  10. Click "Save".
  11. Select the arrow at the top of the page to move on to the next student.
