Teachers can customize student learning by using the "Exclude Skills" feature in MobyMax. This allows teachers to remove specific skills from a student’s lesson sequence, ensuring they focus on the most relevant material.
Excluding skills can be beneficial for:
✅ Preventing students from being assigned skills that may be too challenging or too easy.
✅ Customizing learning paths for individual students or the entire class.
✅ Streamlining instruction to align with specific learning goals.
To exclude skills for your class:
Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
Click the "Curriculum" tab at the top of the page.
Select the subject area button (Mathematics, Language, etc.).
Click the "Assign" tab at the top of the page.
Select "Exclude Specific Skills From Auto-Assign."
Use the drop-down menu to choose the grade level, lessons, and skills you want to exclude for your class.
Important Notes:
- Excluding skills may affect a student’s overall progress toward 100% proficiency in standards and grade levels.
- If a skill is excluded, students will not see it in their lesson sequence unless manually reassigned.
