When entering fractions, all equivalent fractions or decimals will be marked as correct unless the problem directs students to enter the answer in a specified form (e.g., "enter your answer as a mixed number"). For example, if the answer is 1/2, they can enter 1/2, .5, .5000000, 4/8, etc.
If your students are entering a mixed number, they need to put a space between the whole number and the fraction. Otherwise, MobyMax won't be able to tell whether they mean the improper fraction 11/3 or the mixed number 1 1/3.
