Shared classes offer a streamlined way for teachers to collaborate with one another by automatically sharing groups of students. When a teacher is added to a shared class, all students within that class are instantly shared with every participating teacher.
This eliminates the need to manually share students one at a time and is especially useful for co-teaching or departmental settings. You can also enable automatic enrollment, so any new students you add to your roster are immediately included in the shared class.
To Create a Shared Class and Add Other Teachers:
Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
Click the Manage tab at the top of the page.
Select the Student Roster button.
Click the Manage Roster tab at the top of the menu.
Click Create or edit shared class.
Select Create new class.
Enter a name for the shared class.
(Optional) Select Always add new students to this class if you'd like all future students you roster to be added automatically.
Click Save and Close.
To Add Teachers and Students to an Existing Shared Class:
Click the name of the class you want to update.
Check the box next to any student or teacher you want to include.
Click “Save.”
Editing a Shared Class:
To make changes later, simply return to the shared class menu and click on the class name. You can also click the gear icon to rename the class or update its settings.
