When students visit a webpage, their browser stores a temporary copy of the page in a location called the cache. This helps pages load faster on repeat visits. However, an outdated cached version can sometimes cause issues—such as students encountering repeated skills in MobyMax.
To resolve this issue and ensure you’re viewing the latest version of MobyMax, follow these steps:
Step 1: Clear The Browser Cache
Outdated cache files may cause conflicts. Clear the cache on the student's device to refresh stored data.
Step 2: Reset Browser Settings
Some browser settings may interfere with MobyMax. Resetting the browser can fix these issues.
For Google Chrome:
- Click the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner and select "Settings."
- Scroll down and click "Reset settings" from the left-hand menu.
- Select "Restore settings to their original defaults," then confirm by clicking "Reset settings."
- Restart your device.
Step 3: Disable Browser Extensions
Extensions can sometimes disrupt website functionality.
For Google Chrome:
- Click the three vertical dots in Chrome and go to "More tools" > "Extensions."
- Toggle off or remove unnecessary extensions.
- Restart the browser and log in to MobyMax again.
Step 4: Log Out Properly
After completing a lesson, students should always log out of MobyMax rather than simply closing the browser or shutting down the device. This ensures their progress is saved correctly.
Additional Tips
- Ensure a stable internet connection while working in MobyMax. Disruptions may cause the program to repeat skills.
- Restarting the device after clearing the cache and resetting settings can help resolve lingering issues.
