If your district has completed integrating NWEA MAP results with MobyMax, some of your students might have already commenced their work in Mathematics and Language and need their results to be synced. The integration with MAP results aims to establish a baseline in these two subjects for students who have not yet commenced their work. However, if some students have already started, you can follow the steps mentioned below to modify their settings.

To restart a student in Mathematics or Language with NWEA settings:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the Manage tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click the Settings button.
  4. Select the Individual Student Settings tab at the top of the page.
  5. Check the box to the left of the student names that you'd like to update settings for.
  6. Click the Update Settings button.
  7. Click on the Modules tab at the top of the menu.
  8. Select a subject from the side panel (i.e. Mathematics or Language) 
  9. In the Initial Placement Test section, select Start students with NWEA MAP Growth test results.
  10. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page. 


Note: With these settings in place, you can restart students who have already started working in the Math or Language module. Just remember that restarting students in a subject will clear out all existing data and progress, but will allow for MAP results to set the baseline to work from.
