Because MobyMax runs entirely in a web browser, outdated cached files or cookies can sometimes cause login issues, loading problems, or unexpected behavior.

Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies forces the browser to load the most up-to-date version of MobyMax and often resolves these issues.


When Should I Clear Cache and Cookies?

We recommend clearing your cache and cookies if you experience:

  • Trouble signing in

  • Pages that don’t load correctly

  • Missing or incorrect progress

  • Features not behaving as expected


Note: Clearing cache and cookies will not delete bookmarks or saved passwords, but you may be signed out of websites and need to log in again.


Google Chrome (Windows, Mac, Chromebook)

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click the three dots (More) in the top-right corner.

  3. Click Delete browsing data.

  4. Set the time range to All time.

  5. Check the boxes for:

    • Cookies and other site data

    • Cached images and files

  6. Click Delete data.

  7. Close and reopen Chrome, then try again.


Google Chrome (iPhone & iPad)

  1. Open the Chrome app.

  2. Tap the three dots (More).

  3. Tap Settings.

  4. Tap Privacy and Security.

  5. Tap Delete Browsing Data.

  6. Set the time range to All time.

  7. Check:

    • Cookies, Site Data

    • Cached Images and Files

  8. Tap Delete Browsing Data, then tap Delete Browsing Data again to confirm.

  9. Close and reopen Chrome.


Google Chrome (Android)

  1. Open the Chrome app.

  2. Tap the three dots (More).

  3. Tap Delete browsing data.

  4. Set the time range to All time.

  5. Check:

    • Cookies and site data

    • Cached images and files

  6. Tap Delete data.

  7. Close and reopen Chrome.


Mozilla Firefox (Windows & Mac)

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Click the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Click Privacy & Security.

  5. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Clear Data…

  6. Check:

    • Cookies and Site Data

    • Cached Web Content

  7. Click Clear.

  8. Close and reopen Firefox.


Mozilla Firefox (iPhone & iPad)

  1. Open the Firefox app.

  2. Tap the menu button (three lines).
    (On iPad, the menu may be in the top-right.)

  3. Tap Settings.

  4. Under Privacy, tap Data Management.

  5. Turn on Cache and Cookies.

  6. Tap Clear Private Data to confirm.

  7. Close and reopen Firefox.


Mozilla Firefox (Android)

  1. Open the Firefox app.

  2. Tap the menu button.

  3. Tap Settings.

  4. Under Privacy and security, tap Delete browsing data.

  5. Select:

    • Cookies and site data

    • Cached images and files

  6. Tap Delete browsing data to confirm.

  7. Close and reopen Firefox.


Apple Safari (Mac)

Clear cookies and website data (recommended)

  1. Open Safari.

  2. Click Safari (top-left menu), then select Settings.

  3. Click the Privacy tab.

  4. Click Manage Website Data…

  5. Click Remove All, then confirm.

  6. Close and reopen Safari.

Optional: Clear Safari cache (if issues persist)

  1. In Safari, click Safari > Settings.

  2. Click Advanced.

  3. Enable Show features for web developers (or Show Develop menu in menu bar).

  4. From the top menu bar, click Develop > Empty Caches.

  5. Close and reopen Safari.


Apple Safari (iPhone & iPad)

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap Apps, then select Safari.

  3. Tap Advanced.

  4. Tap Website Data.

  5. Tap Remove All Website Data, then tap Remove Now.

  6. Close and reopen Safari.


Microsoft Edge (Windows)

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click the three dots (Settings and more) in the top-right corner.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Click Privacy, search, and services.

  5. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

  6. Set the time range to All time.

  7. Check:

    • Cookies and other site data

    • Cached images and files

  8. Click Clear now.

  9. Close and reopen Edge.
